Between 2023 and 2025, TTU-iHub successfully implemented several high-impact programmes that strengthened entrepreneurship, agribusiness, innovation, employability, and enterprise development across the Western Region and beyond.

KIC Partnership Programmes

Kosmos Innovation Center (KIC) & Mastercard Foundation

2023–2025 · Completed

Through a strategic partnership with KIC and Mastercard Foundation, TTU-iHub implemented the AgriTech Challenge, Young Farmer Business Academy (YFBA), and Young Agripreneurs Forum (YAF).

Key Achievements

USD 200,000 investment in innovation and agribusiness development
More than 500 TTU students trained
Over 70 innovative agribusiness solutions developed
Student innovations focused on organic fertilizer production, drone technologies, waste-to-value solutions, climate-smart agriculture, and agritech innovations
Several startups secured funding ranging from GHS 50,000 to GHS 100,000 and advanced into incubation programmes

Impact

Over 500 direct jobs created
More than 3,000 indirect jobs generated
Over 5,000 farmers supported
300 young farmers trained across six communities
